Contact Dermatitis
Contact dermatitis is an irritation of the skin caused by direct contact with a substance that irritates or causes an allergic reaction in a specific individual. Symptoms including redness, sores, or inflammation and can be caused by certain soaps, shampoos, detergents, and other substances. Allergic contact dermatitis can be caused by contact with certain fabrics, plants like poison ivy, and cosmetics.
