Sun Damage
UV rays from sun exposure can lead to permanent sun damage of the skin. Sun damage can take the form of brown spots or age spots and skin discoloration. Sun damage also leads to fine lines and wrinkles, often on the face and neck. Mild sun damage can be treated using a chemical peel to cause old skin cells to slough off and new, undamaged skin cells to replace the old. For more moderate to severe sun damage, a stronger chemical peel or a laser resurfacing treatment may be necessary to target deeper layers of skin. Before and Afters*
